Hotel Information

The RERTR-2016 International Meeting will be held at the Radisson Blu Astrid in Antwerp, Belgium.

Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the Radisson Blu Astrid and the nearby Park Inn by Radisson. Meeting participants are responsible for making their own individual lodging reservations. Room rates and other information is provided below.

The deadline for the special hotel rates is Saturday, September 24, 2016 for both hotels.

Please note: US-DOE has determined that all NNSA-sponsored travelers to the RERTR-2016 International Meeting are required to use train transportation from the Brussels and Amsterdam airports to Antwerp. Please see connection information on the Venue page.

Room Rate

159 EUR

Room rate includes VAT, free Wireless Internet and Breakfast, and free use of the Radisson Blu Health Club and Fitness Centre. City tax is not included and will be charged at 2.39 EUR per person per night.

Those staying at the Park Inn can utilize the amenities at the Radisson Blu: free breakfast buffet, free use of the Blu Health Club and Fitness Centre. Room rate includes VAT but not city tax.

Notes on Accomodations:

  • Registrants do not have to be U.S. government employees to take advantage of the special rates; they are available to all.
  • Meeting participants are responsible for making their own individual reservations.
  • The hotels will not hold reservations without a credit card number. Please contact Karen Grudzinski (Phone: +1 (630) 252-1671; Fax: +1 (630) 252-5161; email: ) if this requirement poses a problem for you.
  • Early reservations are recommended as a limited number of rooms have been blocked for the meeting.
  • Cut-off date for the special rates is Saturday, September 24, 2016. After this date, the hotels will accept reservations at the existing cost and availability.
  • As in recent years, a registration fee is not being collected for the meeting, and consequently lunches will not be provided.
