Registration: Enjoy a speedy registration in the foyer of Jade Ballroom from 3:00 ― 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1st and get in touch before the sessions begin on Monday.

Reception: A Welcome Reception at 6:00 ― 8:00 p.m. in Jade Ballroom A and Kaifeng Room of the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center will follow registration and provide RERTR-2009 attendees an opportunity to share welcome drinks and hors d’oeuvres with other meeting participants. The Welcome reception is hosted by UChicago Argonne LLC and Battelle Energy Alliance.

On Wednesday evening a reception will be held at 6:00 ― 8:00 p.m. in the Jade Ballroom A and Kaifeng Room of the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center. The Reception is graciously hosted by The Babcock & Wilcox Company.

Tours and Sightseeing Activities     UPDATED!

Sightseeing Tours: RERTR-2009 office staff and the Kempinski Hotel concierge service as requested will arrange sightseeing tours of Beijing’s top attractions for you and your guests, including the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, The Great Wall, the Summer Palace the Palace of Heaven, the Beijing 2008 Olympic Green, and other interesting and historic sites.

IMPORTANT - Tour scheduling is open and will be done by the company organizing the tours. The tour company confirmed they will be present during registration on Sunday, November 1st, 2009.

Pre-reservation of Optional Activities
  1. Download the Pre-Reservation Form for Optional Activities [page in pdf format PDF, 51KB].
  2. Complete the form using one of the following methods:
    1. Open the form in Adobe Reader, print it and type/ write the required info on the printout, then fax it to us (contact details follow).
    2. Open the form in Adobe Reader, fill the form fields in Adobe Reader (no pen/type machine needed!), print the form and send it to us by fax. You will not be able to save a copy of the filled document and must keep a copy of the printout for your records.
    3. If you have the Adobe Acrobat editing software, you can do as instructed in option 2.b.; you will be able to save the completed form for your records on your computer.
  3. The Pre-Reservation Form for Optional Activities must be completed, and sent to Mrs. Wei Zan, by October 31st, 2009. Contact information is included in the form. You may fax it or e-mail it as a pdf. We recommend using this form to reserve in advance participation in optional activities.
