Design information is presented for high
enriched uranium (HEU, using IRT-2M fuel) and low
enriched uranium (LEU, using IRT-4M fuel) cores in
Tajoura (IRT-1) reactor in Libya. Calculated results are
presented for several reactivity-induced accident
situations. In no case does fuel approach conditions
which might lead to damage.
