Instructions for Forms and Deadlines

Abstract Submittal:
Please fax, mail, or e-mail this completed form (Attachment 2) along with your abstract to Linda Legerski by July 15, 2008.
WARNING: Submission of an abstract does not constitute registration for the meeting. All authors must register separately following the instructions on the RERTR 2008 website. Online registration closes on August 1. The number of places at the meeting may potentially be filled before registration closes, so authors are advised to register early.

RERTR 2008 Registration:
Registration is due by August 1, 2008. Please follow the instructions on the form (Attachment 3).

IAEA Travel Grant:
The IAEA offers a limited number of travel grants which contribute to meeting the grantee’s travel and accommodation expenses. The grants aim to stimulate the attendance of selected professionals in the research reactor community who would have difficulties attending RERTR 2008 without this assistance. The IAEA invites particularly young people to apply for a travel grant. The criteria for selection are:

• The candidate must be a national from an IAEA Member State eligible to receive assistance under the Agency’s Technical Co-operation Programme;
• The candidate must present an oral paper or poster accepted by the Programme Committee
• Priority will go to first-time applicants

If you are interested in a travel grant, please fill in the Grant Application Form below, make sure it is properly endorsed by a competent authority in your organization/government and send it back via your official National authority (Ministry of Foreign Affaires or National Atomic Energy Authority) to the

This form should be returned through the official liaison offices with the IAEA by 15 August 2008 at the very latest. To start the procedure in due time (sending it through the post may take some time) you may anticipate the form (properly endorsed by a competent authority in your organization/government) by fax (+43 1 26007) or by e-mail ([email protected]).

Hotel Reservation:
Meeting participants are responsible for making their own individual reservations. The Hamilton Crowne Plaza will not offer either of the low conference rates after September 12, 2008, nor will they guarantee the availability of rooms after this date. The hotel will also not hold reservations without a credit card number. Please contact Linda Legerski if this requirement poses special problems for you. Other hotels are also available in the vicinity, as listed in the Hotel information section of the RERTR 2008 web pages.

Final Paper:
Please send your final paper to Linda Legerski by e-mail, on diskette(s), CD, or on a Zip disk by August 1, 2008. It is the intent of the organizers to prepare CDs containing the papers for distribution at the meeting. The papers must be submitted in a timely manner for this to be accomplished.

Publication Release:
The "Publication Release" form must be completed, signed, and sent to Linda Legerski, with your final paper, by August 1, 2008. You may fax it or mail it. The form is required in order for the paper to be published on the RERTR web site.
