Reservation Information

  • Room rates are available below.
  • Registrants do not have to be U.S. government employees to take advantage of the special rate; it is available to all.
  • Meeting participants are responsible for making their own individual reservations.
  • To reserve your room(s) at the Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown/Lakefront Hotel and receive the special meeting rate, you must reserve online (How online reservation works).


  • The hotel will not hold reservations without a credit card number. Please contact Karen Grudzinski (Phone: +1 (630) 252-1671; Fax: +1 (630) 252-5161; email: ) if this requirement poses special problems for you.
  • Early reservations are recommended as a limited number of rooms have been blocked for the meeting at the Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown/Lakefront Hotel.
  • Cut-off date for the special rates is Friday, October 13, 2017. After this date, the Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown/Lakefront Hotel will accept reservations at the existing cost and availability.
  • As in recent years, a registration fee is not being collected for the meeting, and consequently lunches will not be provided.

  • You will be directed to the Hotel Page with the special group code for RERTR-2017 already entered in the appropriate field and the dates for the RERTR-2017 group.
  • All you need to do is enter your other data to begin the reservation process.

Reservations by fax

  • Room reservations by fax will NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please reserve your room(s) online following the online reservation link listed above.

Reservations by e-mail

  • Room reservations by email will NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please reserve your room(s) online following the online reservation link listed above.

Special Rate Deadline

Friday, October 13, 2017

Early reservations are recommended as a limited number of rooms have been blocked for RERTR-2017 at the Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile Hotel. Only registrants reserving their room(s) via the online reservation form will receive the special meeting reduced rate.

Reservation requests must be made by the close of business on October 13, 2017 to qualify for the group rates. Reservations made after that date will be confirmed upon availability of room and rate.

Cancellations

Detailed information about the Cancellation Policy of the Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile Hotel is outlined at the hotel website. For all No-Shows: the credit card used to guarantee your reservation will be charged for the total number of booked nights. The same procedure applies to any modification to the initial reservation. An early departure fee may be charged if an attendee checks out of the hotel prior to the attendee's scheduled departure date.
