Please note: US-DOE has determined that all NNSA-sponsored travelers to the RERTR-2016 International Meeting are required to use train transportation from the Brussels and Amsterdam airports to Antwerp. Please see connection information on the "Getting there from the Airport" tab below.

The Radisson Blu Astrid is located in the heart of Antwerp at the opposite end of the city square from the Antwerp Central Train Station (one block). Check out the Radisson's Location Guide for more information.

Train Transportation

Upon exiting Passport Control and Baggage Claim, follow the signs for Local Transportation. One of the sign entries will direct you to the airport train station. Tickets can be purchased at the station using local currency or a personal credit card. Several trains per hour are available for travel to Antwerp Central Railway Station. (Cost of a ticket from the Brussels Airport for the 35-minute ride to Antwerp is 11.3 Euro.)

Upon arrival, exit the Antwerp Central Railway Station onto the adjacent Antwerp City Square. The Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel is at the opposite end of the Square (one block), and the Park Inn Hotel is midway along the right side of the square (one-half block).
