Why is RERTR-2013 being held in the U.S.?
RERTR Community,
As many of you know, U.S. federal government agencies are under enormous pressure to reduce conference spending; associated with this, NNSA has issued guidance that for conferences we host they should be in the U.S. Therefore, we will not be able to host the conference in Accra, Ghana, as we had previously planned and announced in Warsaw; we will hold this year’s conference in the United States.
Specifically we have made arrangements to host the RERTR 2013 Meeting in Chicago on October 27-30, 2013. We hope that you can all join us and apologize for the change in venue. Details will be available on Argonne’s RERTR website in the very near future, and you will receive direct notifications from John Holland as information becomes available.
