.:: Sunday, October 5th, 2008  ::. Welcome Reception at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza

Enjoy a speedy registration in the lobby of the Sphinx Club at Almas Temple from 3:00 ― 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5th and get in touch before the sessions begin on Monday.

A Welcome Reception at 6:00 ― 8:00 p.m. in the Pre–Function Area and Ballroom located in the lower level of the Hamilton Crowne Plaza will follow and provide RERTR-2008 attendees an opportunity to share a welcome drink and hors d’oeuvres with other meeting participants. The Welcome Reception is graciously hosted by The Babcock & Wilcox Company.

.:: Monday, October 6th, 2008 ::. Reception and Dinner at the Capitol Hilton Hotel

The Unites States Transport Council (USTC) is hosting a “Salute to the RERTR 30th Anniversary and GTRI” with a reception and dinner at the Capitol Hilton Hotel located at 1001 16th Street, NW (about two blocks from the Hamilton Crowne Plaza). The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner to follow at 7:00 p.m.

Argonne National Laboratory support staff in the RERTR-2008 Office (Mezzanine of the Sphinx Club) and the Concierge Service at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza are eager to assist you in planning city tours and activities during the week of RERTR-2008. Obtain a copy of the Washington Flyer Magazine when you arrive in the District to learn about dining options and sightseeing opportunities. You can also find many interesting things to do while in Washington, D.C. before you arrive by researching the Washington Flyer web site.

Oct. 2, 2008 - Final Monday  Program available and Technical Program updated
The final list of Invited Presentations scheduled for Monday Oct. 6, 2008 is available. The final Technical Program of RERTR 2008 has also been updated to include some last minute changes.  For more information and to download these documents:

July 18, 2008 - It's not too late to submit an abstract and paper for RERTR 2008. Though the abstract submittal deadline is past, you may still submit your abstract; however, if it is not received by August 1, it may not be included in the CD that is hoped to be distributed at the meeting.
