Mixed Fuel versus Low Enriched Fuel in the Syrian MNSR

ABSTRACT
A study of the Syrian MNSR in both cases when only a LEU is used in the reactor, and when both LEU and HEU are simultaneously used is done in this paper. Some of the reactor neutronic and thermal-hydraulic characteristics in the two cases are compared and commented. Some other important features of the reactor are emphasized as well.
